Announcement on Cancellation of CCC Certification for Some Electronic and Electrical Products
To implement the “Opinions of General Office of the State Council on Deepening the Management System Reform of the Electronic and Electrical Industry”(No.31 of 2022, issued by the State Council), the State Administration for Market Regulation adjusted the CCC Certification catalogue according to necessity and minimization principle. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:
1. CCC certification management will no longer be implemented for 9 electronic and electrical products with mature technology and low safety risk(see annex).
2. Relevant products will be removed from the Scope of Application of “Implementation Rules for Compulsory Certification of Audio and Video Equipment”(CNCA-C08-01：2014) and “Implementation Rules for Compulsory Certification of Telecommunication Terminal Equipment”（CNCA-C16-01：2014）. “Implementation Rules for Compulsory Certification of Burglar Alarm Products”（CNCA-C19-01：2014）will be abolished.
3. Designated certification institutions and laboratories shall cancel the business involving relevant products.
4. Designated certification institutions and laboratories shall stop CCC certification and corresponding testing activities for relevant products, and cancel the issued CCC certification certificates as required.
